Our Story

What started as a small initiative to open the first public library in the historic, but impovered, Opobo Town in Rivers State Nigeria, has grown into a comprehensive education program that includes the Emma Johnson Dirigo Wari Library, the adoption of a pre- and elementary school and a commitment to serving the 300 youth annually.

Our work is guided by the belief that education is not just about individual achievement, but about building stronger, more resilient communities. Through partnerships with local leaders, educators, and families, we've created programs that are truly community-driven and culturally relevant.

Today, we continue to expand our impact while maintaining our commitment to transparency, sustainability, and measurable outcomes that benefit the entire Opobo region.
